AHM Aston Martins Specialists in Hampshire was established to provide knowledgeable, independent specialist care for Aston Martin owners who value expertise, precision and attention to detail. We focus on Aston Martins alongside our Alfa Romeo Specialist operation, allowing us to offer a level of understanding that comes from long-term, hands-on experience with the marque.

Based in Hartley Wintney, near Basingstoke, we support Aston Martin owners across the surrounding areas and beyond, providing trusted independent care throughout every stage of ownership. We are a small independent company with two technicians.

Jordan has been with us for 12 years and Adrian is still very much hands on in the workshop.

Sacha runs the office. AHM have a tidy clean workshop, no fancy showroom, coffee machine or comfy sofa, but we do pride ourselves on the quality of our work and friendly service.

Founder Background & Technical Roots

AHM is a family run business that was founded by Adrian Hawkins in 1999, whose technical background began in race preparation and engine building in the late 1990s. What started as specialist performance and development work evolved into a deep and lasting association with Alfa Romeo and then Aston Martins both on the road and within motorsport environments.

Adrian is well known for his highly modified Alfa 33 race car.

Originally Adrian created AHM in 1999 as a race preparation and race engine building business. Adrian is highly respected and well known in racing circles for his race engine building and his unique and highly developed ex Italian Touring Car Alfa Romeo 33 now supercharged producing over 400 bhp and frequently beating more powerful cars.

Our small team have built a reputation for practical expertise, methodical problem-solving and honest independent care. This grounding in performance engineering continues to influence the way we work today — with an emphasis on understanding how systems interact, diagnosing issues accurately, and applying solutions that are correct rather than convenient.

As an independent Aston Martin specialist, we offer an alternative to main dealer servicing without compromising on standards. Independence allows us to take a more considered and personal approach to each vehicle, tailoring our work to the car and its owner rather than following rigid, generic processes.
